It was an existential dread type of spooky season this year. Feeling lost, defeated, and frustrated and I think this song just captures that mood so well.
Black women do everything better
Black women are just stronger, cooler, better, and more talented than everyone. This song feels like the perfect mix of neo-soul with spoken word. Her voice is fantastic and I love the lyrics so much.
Books
Silver Under Nightfall is a queer, vampire, high fantasy story that has plenty of adventure and action with enough court politics and romance to keep you entertained from start to finish. If you loved Castlevania, then you will love this book. Plus everyone is hot just like in Castlevania.
The SLOWEST start to any book I have ever read, I almost returned the Name of the Wind to the library. However, I am so very glad that I kept pushing because it was as good as everyone told me it would be. Already checked out the second book from the library. It’s a long book, but it’s the type of fantasy story that draws you into the world and has you wishing the book didn’t end.
I could recommend the Atlas Paradox (Book 2 of the series) off the ending alone… so I will. Holy shit it’s soooooo good. The second half of this book builds so well and I was very satisfied with what it built to. This third book better be fuckin good cause Oliva Blake can’t play do all that just to have a shitty series finally. Without giving anything away, by the end of Atlas Paradox I was saying #girlboss #gaslight #gatekeep

Invincible Season 2 begins November 3rd, set a notification on your calendar. Re-watch season 1 if needed, but be prepped and ready. This season is gonna rock your socks. It’s the only superhero content worth watching, other than Loki Season 2.
The Curse drops November 10th. Nathan daddy and Emma mommy will be giving Emmy nominating performance for what will be the best show of 2023 without a doubt. The HGTV-ification will finally be commented on and I cannot wait.
November 17th Scott Pilgrim Takes Off begins, I expect all of you to have binged it before November 18th. I feel like nothing else needs to be said, so …

The things I would do to have this goddamn vest…. you know what some things shouldn’t be said out loud.
Gorgeous jacket. The embroidery is great, but I feel like that’s totally something I could do or I beg my girlfriend to do. So don’t be surprised when I eventually post a picture of me in something similar.
Are they essentially just converse but double the price???? Yes…. Do I still want them? Absolutely
